We Need You

It’s true, we need help at drawing things and writing stuff. We really need young blood to bang out some quality blog posts (on money saving tips, and well.. anything really!) drawing some cartoons, flyering colleges, taking surveys and well lots of other stuff too. See www.LittleQuiz.com/jobs for all details.

Here’s an example of how bad we are at drawing. Note only “MSpaint” and “Windows Movie Maker” were hurt in the making of this short clip. Yes indeedy, that about sums up our video skillz here at Little Quiz Towers.

Major thanks to Fred the Band for allowing us to put their damn sexy moozac to this clip (Track used is Damn you Hollywood).

Little Quiz Launches!

After months of planning, testing, plotting, printing, packaging, shouting and chasing monkeys around the place, LittleQuiz.com has launched into the world. The monkey couldn’t be happier:

He IS happy. You just can’t tell because he hasn’t slept for 48 hours, hasn’t bathed in 72, and is strung out on coffee and Red Bull. But he’s as delighted as the rest of us to finally take the lid off Little Quiz and dangle our fancy bananas in public.

To kick off our fabulous launch extravaganza (which is basically us having yet another cup of coffee and praying the server doesn’t fall over), we’ve got a stellar prize for our very first quiz – a Sony Walkman phone for listening to your tunes, and €50 in credit at our ace sponsor, DownloadMusic.ie. Yay!

To be in with a chance to win, all you’ve got to do is visit our home page, take the three question quiz, and register at the end so we have your details in case your name is picked from the hat. (It’s a very not-annoying registration process, we promise.)

And because we’re really nice people and just madcap like that, we’re also doing a weekly prize draw for €100 for people who join our newsletter, and a weekly prize pack draw for people who leave comments on our blog, Tweet us on Twitter, friend us on Facebook or leave a comment on our Bebo page. All that good stuff is right on the sidebar ->

So please have a crack at this week’s quiz, let us know what you think in the comments (or on Twitter, or on Facebook, or or or…) and who knows: the monkey may draw your name from the hat!

Little Quiz Swag!

You’d think that in the days leading up to launching a new quiz website, Little Quiz Headquarters would be all abuzz about quizzes and sponsors. You’d be wrong. We’ve pretty much spent the last three weeks doing nothing but sitting on the floor next to the letter box, rocking back and forth and chanting “Is it here yet? Is it here yet?Is it here yet?”

And hot diggity damn – as of yesterday, it is here:

Little Quiz Swag

Little Quiz USB Sticks

Hot off the press, it’s a metric tonne of great looking Little Quiz swag. That means our Weekly Prize Packs are complete and we are ready to launch!

  • A 2GB Little Quiz USB stick, affectionately dubbed Monkey on a Stick. It’s tiny, it’s shiny, it has a loop to hitch to your keys or whatever, and it lights up. Lights up!
  • A handful of monkey badges. Do you know how cute these badges are? Truly, you do not. Everyone we’ve shown them to wants one. Nobody got one because they are the precioussssssssss.
  • Pens. Because you can never have too many pens. And also because we were running out of things we could stick our name on without being total branding whores and that people might actually use.
  • Oversize Postcards. Because they look great and make an excellent backing material for the bag we put your swag in before dropping it (ever so gently) into the post for you.

The only thing that isn’t here yet are our cool vinyl monkey stickers you will totally want to stick on your laptop. They actually did arrive, and were utterly rubbish. We threatened to leave a horse head in the printer’s bed, got a refund, and went with a different supplier. The new stickers will be here next week!
